Local Fibre aims to connect local fibre producers with those who can’t get enough of fleece and fibre from sheep, goats, alpacas, llamas and other lovely creatures.
The project began in 2008 by gathering contact info and details of fibre producers and processors in British Columbia, Yukon Territory and Washington State. At that time, the info was made available as a PDF entitled Locally Raised and Processed Animal Fibres: Sources in BC, Yukon and Washington Stateat florenceann.com.
The project is now moving online. Feedback, comments and of course, new fibre sources are always happily received.
